The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side.

I'm back and blogging! I realized that finding time to post a blog is much easier when I don't have a job that consumes most of my time! I really do like my job, though. I love getting to talk to people and hearing how excited they are to be on vacation. The only downside is that I work the swing shift a majority of the time and it feels like I'm always at work. I started to long for the days when I didn't have a job and I got to spend all of Gordon's days off with him instead of working most of the days he is off.
I find it really funny that the other day I was whining to Gordon that I just want to go back to not working. I stopped myself, though, because I remembered back when I didn't have a job that I spend a lot of time whining about how bored I was. I guess I just realized that the grass is always greener on the other side!
I really do need to be thankful for the job that I have. Since I started working, Gordon and I have been able to put all of my paychecks towards our debts and we should have them paid off in about a year, which is awesome! I'm really excited for that!

Other than work, there isn't too much to update here. Nixon got the "Snip Snip" at the vet the other day and he is recovering nicely, even though he really hates his cone. We are going to Hume Lake next weekend for the country fair with my family. I can't wait.I will post pictures up when I get back!
