Ok, so I really have come to understand that I am undeniably annoying. I mean, really. I am nosy, loud, opinionated, sarcastic, mean, and rude at times. I truly believe that if I met me, I would not like me at all. In fact, I am baffled that I have friends at all!
Its one of those painful realizations that I know God is showing me on purpose. If I am to become a woman worthy of the calling of Jesus Christ, my life ought to reflect that. Not only that, but I am doing a study on the proverbs 31 woman and we were talking about how, "you can read the character of a man on the countenance of his wife." WOW. So my countenance not only speaks volumes of me, but also of my husband. I want him to be so proud that he has a wife of noble character.
Basically, I'm on a mission. I am going to change the things in me that I know are not pleasing to God. I know that I can't do it on my own, but I have to fully rely on the Lord.
That being said, I am SO grateful for the amazing friends that I do have. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people who love me in spite of my flaws.
Gordon, Fish, Lizzy, Jamie, Missy, Eric, Glenn, Kelly, Jeff, Kimmy, and Meg are just a few of the amazing people God has placed in my life that are such a blessing to me.
Thats all for now!

I do not understand...
...Why people don't just say what they mean. I mean, if you don't want to do something, you can just say it. You don't have to sugar coat the truth. I can take it, just so you know. ;-)
Dog-Sitting.

Gordon and I are dog-sitting. My parents left for Boston yesterday, so we get to stay at their house with Gracie. Gracie is a golden-doodle (1/2 golden retriever, 1/2 poodle). I know she doesn't look like it, but she is. And we love her. She really does have a cute personality.
Now, if you know anything about this dog, then you know that she is certifiably crazy. No joke. She does the wierdest stuff. Also, if you know anything about my parents, you know that they spoil her like crazy and thus feeding her weird habits.
First of all, she can't handle a lack of attention. Gordon came home last night and as soon as he came over to give me a hug, she started squealing (yes squealing... she doesn't bark much). Then she stuck her head in between us and dropped her squeaky toy on our feet. She did this anytime we were talking to each other and ignoring her.
Second, when she is outside, she will stand by the door, crying and squealing. She does this not because she wants to come inside, but because she would like to be outside with the door open. She wants the option to come inside.
Third, (and this is possibly her strangest habit) she does weird things in the night. For the most part, she sleeps in my parents closet. But in the middle of the night, she will start to squeal. I assume she has to go to the bathroom, so I get up and put her outside. She eats some of her kibble and then goes out into the backyard. I go back to sleep. Then there is this scratching noise on the side of the wall by my parents room. Apparently, Gracie had an itch and rubbing herself up against the stucco on the outside wall feels really good to her. Then she begins to bark. I let her back in. I asked my mom about this and apparently she does it every night. WEIRD.
So this next week should be an adventure in dog-sitting. I am leaving for Santa Barbara tonight to be in my cousin's wedding tomorrow so Gordon is on his own to deal with the dog and her strange nocturnal behaviors.
Needless to say, it is going to be an interesting week!

Hello, Blogspot!
Well, I finally broke down and did it. I got a new blog. I was previously using Xanga to blog, but apparently that is NOT the cool thing to do anymore. Basically, I don't know anyone using Xanga, but I do know people who use blogspot. So here I am.
I'm not very good at STARTING a blog. Once I get on a roll, you won't get me to stop talking, but I always have trouble finding a good place to start! I suppose I could bring you up to speed on my life as of now:
-I graduated from Biola University in May of this year with a degree in Communication. The funny thing about a communications degree is that you can do everything and nothing with it at the same time. I had a difficult time finding a job.
-I ended up working as a marketing manager at KBI. It's a ridiculously boring job. Trust me, I won't talk about it.
-In June of this year, I got married to my best friend in the entire world. His name is Gordon. Words can not express the blessing that he has been in my life. The two of us spend the majority of our time just laughing together. We pretty much make fun of everything.
-We currently live in Valencia, CA where I grew up, but we are thinking of moving back to Anaheim (where he grew up) next year.
- Just last Friday, my husband got a call that notified him that he has been accepted into the Los Angeles Police Department. He starts the academy on Oct. 14! I'm pretty stoked to be an LAPD wife!
-I am also currently in the process of applying to be a Los Angeles Police Dispatcher. We will see how it goes!
So thats a little bit about me. I will update this blog as different things tickle my fancy. For now, I have to get back to work.... er... something like that!
